Do not let curiosity to be broken into such small parts that it cannot yield anything

In this tech driven world of endless possibilities and ideas popping up like there is no tomorrow, we homosapiens are well fed into our curiosity. There is not a single moment that is not harbored by an idea or a thought or a thing we must try or a place you must visit before you die. The era of modernization with the world at the access of our fingertips we are constantly reminded of the various things that we can put our mind and efforts to only to end up realizing that it is nothing, but glamourized content designed to sell.

Hey, do not get me wrong I am all for trying new things without a care for failure.

Ooh… found a new thing to try… it doesn’t work? No problemo!! Jump onto the next thing that is in trend and it goes on and on with no intention of yielding no long-term benefits for us to feast on. Ill sustained short bursts of Curiosity fed this way is begging for luck to work out for once in your favor. As a student I cannot remember the number of times I have fallen to this gimmick. Looking back all some things needed to work out was dedicated time for it

Multitasking is a vice disguised as a feat.

I believe curiosity should be bound either by time or the number of things feeding into it at a given moment. This way we can couple up determination and persistence with curiosity, a worthwhile meaningful allegiance to our curiosity.

Your curiosity is valuable, let us not break into so many into pieces that it becomes invisible matter, a void in one’s life.

So, what can we do??

Let us view curiosity as a tunnel with an inlet, a path, and an outlet

We can limit the number of things trying to enter the inlet by decreasing content consumption, by easing our busy mind by meditation.

For the path, as productivity gurus say we can practice time blocking – for investing efforts into the idea with a well calculated amount of time to do the same.

As for the outlet a wise man not only knows when to start but would also know when to stop – after giving the best that he can to make the thing work out for him from the bottom of his heart and mind.

So, my dear reader, I am so happy for you having a mind as curious as it is ….

Your curiosity deserves to be nurtured by mindful thinking and practical efforts for it to yield something beautiful.

Your curiosity towards an idea deserves to be seen, heard and experience what it feels to be wanted.

Signing off on a curious note until next time.

Love
Your pondering homosapien
